I’ve always believed a great burger deserves attention. Living in New York City, a place with no shortage of restaurants and opinions, I noticed something missing: a single destination dedicated to understanding the burgers across the five boroughs. Information was often scattered, buried in long reviews, or focused more on scoring than on actually explaining what makes each burger unique.

This blog exists to change that. To me, a burger is a small but meaningful piece of Americana—simple in concept, yet endlessly interpreted by the people who make them. Rather than ranking burgers like contestants on America's Got Talent, the goal here is to document them: how they’re built, how they taste, the environment they’re served in, and the overall experience of getting one. The idea is simple—give readers the details and impressions they need to decide for themselves if a burger is worth seeking out.

Some entries will be quick and direct, capturing the essentials of a great find. Others may take a little more time, diving deeper into the story behind the burger and the place serving it. Either way, the focus remains the same: thoughtful observations, honest experiences, and respect for the craft behind a well-made burger.
